About the role
Our client is hiring a HR Coordinator II based in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time role with a on-site work mode.
What you'll do
- Own onboarding logistics: offer paperwork, background checks, equipment, day-one schedules.
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS and ensure accuracy across systems.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, leave requests, and offboarding.
- Be the first point of contact for employee questions on policy, benefits, and HR processes.
- Support the People team on engagement, performance cycles, and compliance reporting.
What you'll bring
- 2+ years in an HR Coordinator, People Operations, or related support role.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion handling sensitive information.
- Comfort using an HRIS (Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, Gusto).
- Excellent written communication.
Nice to have
- PHR / SHRM-CP or pursuing certification.
- Experience supporting a multi-state US workforce.
- Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, and COBRA processes.
