About the role
Our client is hiring a Associate Project Manager based in New York, NY. This is a full-time role with a remote work mode.
What you'll do
- Communicate weekly status to stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to the executive team.
- Drive scope discussions when timelines or budgets are at risk.
- Run end-to-end delivery for cross-functional projects across 3–9 month engagements.
- Maintain project plans, risks, dependencies, and decisions in a single source of truth.
- Facilitate stand-ups, planning sessions, and retros; remove blockers.
What you'll bring
- Comfort using PM tooling such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
- 2+ years managing complex projects with multiple workstreams.
- Working knowledge of project management methodology (Agile, waterfall, or hybrid).
- Excellent written communication and meeting facilitation skills.
Nice to have
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
- Industry experience aligned with the hiring team.
- Background managing distributed teams.
